Common questions

Everything you need to know before submitting your first claim.

Is this legal?

Absolutely. EU Regulation 1371/2007 guarantees rail passengers the right to compensation for delays. We act as your authorized representative to file claims on your behalf — something explicitly allowed under consumer law.

How do you file claims on my behalf?

When you sign up, you grant us a limited Power of Attorney to submit refund claims to transit operators on your behalf. We use your ticket details to verify the delay against public schedule data, then submit the claim directly to the operator.

What if my claim fails?

You pay absolutely nothing. Our "no-win, no-fee" model means we only charge our 25% commission when we successfully recover money for you. If the claim is rejected, you owe zero.

How long does the refund take?

Most European rail operators process refunds within 14–30 days. We send you email updates at every stage so you always know the status of your claim.

Is my data safe?

We're fully GDPR-compliant. Your personal data (email, IBAN, ticket details) is encrypted at rest and only used to process your claims. We never sell your data or share it with third parties beyond the transit operators needed to process your refund.

Which delays qualify for a refund?

Requirements vary by operator. Generally, NS refunds start at 15+ minutes and Eurostar/Thalys at 60+ minutes. We automatically check your eligibility when you upload your ticket — if you don't qualify, we'll let you know immediately.
